The brief
HCT needed a unified sport and wellness program across all sixteen UAE campuses. Not events. Infrastructure. A model that would run in Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi with the same quality of experience, without a separate operations team on every site. We built the playbook and run it.
The approach
Three principles that make a multi-site model actually work.

Standardised, not identical
Every campus runs the same sports calendar structure, booking system and coaching standards. The local sport mix differs by campus population. One operations manual. Sixteen local expressions.

Inter-campus competition
HCT Active leagues connect campuses, not just run within them. Inter-campus fixtures give students something to compete for across the full academic year, which drives participation beyond the casual user.

Wellness as a retention tool
HCT data showed physically active students had higher course retention rates. We structured the programming to build habit, not just provide access. Booking is easy. Showing up becomes routine.
